About AJH Environmental Services
AJH Environmental Services provides technical, information and management services related to the conservation and sustainable use of coastal and marine resources. We work around the world, especially in developing countries. AJH's core business is in the development and strategic planning of projects, project facilitation, evaluations, the development of information management applications, and in education and communication about coastal and marine resources.
Since the mid-1990's, AJH has worked with the international coral reef scientific and conservation communities to develop a range of projects aimed at the scientific, management and policy advancements for this important ecosystem.
Within the U.S., AJH has provided environmental planning services, such as Environmental Impact Statements and Wetland delineations. From 1989-1995 AJH was significantly involved in the response, restoration and remediation surrounding the T/V Exxon Valdez Oil Spill, with an emphasis on ecological impacts to the marine environment.
AJH is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the International Society for Reef Studies (ISRS), the International Coral Reef Initiative (ICRI) and the Washington, DC Marine Community (DCMC).
